Slow Cooker Breakfast Cobbler

When you wake up late and can’t manage to get in a healthy breakfast it can wreak havoc on our metabolism. Not to mention getting the kids up with enough time to eat a hearty breakfast to get their brains going can be difficult on most occasions too.  This crockpot recipe totally solves all the pesky breakfast problems. I find myself smelling it before the alarm even goes off and it gives me that urge to jump out of bed with enthusiasm. Let’s be honest, still groggy but excited nonetheless :-).

Hopefully it will bring you just as much joy!

Slow Cooker Breakfast Cobbler

Yield: 4 Servings (2-9 hours)


  • 4 medium-sized apples peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter – melted
  • 2 cups granola cereal

Optional addons: nuts, raisins or any dried fruit, dollup of cool whip, sprinkle of added cinnamon.

Place apples in slow cooker and mix in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 7-9 hours (overnight) or on high 2-3 hours.
